In the old days, when much of South India was part of the Madras Presidency, it was easy to make glib assumptions about the very smart people who lived in the region. They ate dosa in the morning, washed it down with filter kapi as strains of Carnatic music wafted across the the nearby temble. Then they wrapped on their mundus and went off to their offices, where they spent the day inventing Mars rockets and researching forgotten links between the strange gurgly language they all spoke and Old Norse.

Evidently, there's more to life south of the Vindhyas. Or so insist a bunch of comedians called Enna Da Rascala in this spoof of Billy Joel's We Didn't Start the Fire.
