FILM Jagran Film Festival at Siri Fort Auditorium
Feature films from across the world such as V. Shantaram’s Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baaje (India, 1955), about an ambitious dance maestro who partners his son and his student for a competition; Ian Padrón Habanastation (Cuba, 2011), about a friendship between two children belonging to disparate classes; and Sudha Kongara Prasad’s Tamil boxing movie Irudhi Suttru (India, 2016) will be screened at the seventh edition of the festival organised by Hindi newspaper Dainik Jagran. FOOD & DRINK WALKS WORKSHOPS Raunaq-e-Alvida Jumma Iftar at Chawri Bazaar
Tour company Delhi By Foot will take participants on a photography and food walk around the Jama Masjid area on the last Jumma (Friday) before the month of Ramzan ends on Eid-ul-Fitr. Photojournalist Prashanth Vishwanathan will lead the walk, during which he will show participants how to take Instagram-friendly pictures, after which the group will sample food in the area.
