Three Army soldiers were killed and another junior commissioned officer was critically injured after a Cheetah chopper crashed in Sukna, West Bengal, on Wednesday morning. A Court of Inquiry has been ordered into the incident, reported PTI.

Army officials told PTI that the chopper crashed around 11.45 am when it was returning to the camp’s helipad near Siliguri after a routine mission. However, the cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained.

The five-seater helicopter is a multipurpose chopper. It holds the world record of flying in high altitude, claims Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
