Why an Indian Muslim needs to fear a law that is affecting a Muslim from Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan? Why are Indian Muslims so fearful about? Shouldn’t Indian Muslim make sure to make sure everyone has proper documents and make sure this issue is solved for once and all.

The number claimed by BJP for Pakistan is definitely not exactly true (23% to 3%), but it is also not false there is a reduction in population and of the persecution from many accounts. It is providing relief to those who need it, those who are prosecuted, and the relief is instead of 12 years, people from these 6 communities can get citizenship in 6 years. Is it so hard to ask for a concession of 6 years for those who could have been persecuted? Also does the law say that Muslims even after 12 years will not get citizenship?

It’s so easy for an article writer to compare any ancient Indian texts and declare that there is no mention of a citizen in any Indian text: Fact check: go to https://csboa.com/eBooks/Arthashastra_of_Chanakya_-_English.pdf - and search "Citizen", there are 21 mentions of word "citizen", in some way or other they are indicative of who a citizen should be, even though according to your terms it may not give a direct definition. Followed by a completely unrelated connection with “Kamasutra” – Kamasutra was written with a purpose to provide details about sex – its name suggests the same. Nobody in their sane mind would write anything about the citizen in there, but I guess that’s the only thing you can relate Hindutva with. I would urge article writers and opinion creators to make factual inferences and not something from a biased view. The story writer than states that “According to Hindutva theoreticians like Subramanyan Swamy, no Muslim is persecuted in these Islamic nations so they have no need to seek residence in India” – well most of the people can look at statistics and infer a logical proof that non-Muslims are getting persecuted in these three countries.
