I went through the video link in this article. Again, “as per my wisdom”, Sadguru is questioning wisdom of a person who presents a weird logic for the vandalism done by mob. He is not supporting vandalism. Anyway I still may be wrong

Always biased scroll.in Only such things can be expected of you to selectively take the phrases and trying to add your conclusion on it. There is something called as reference to context which you should understand

I urge everyone reading this article to actually see the video of Sadhguru allegedly calling burning buses as wisdom. It will expose the shameless and spineless author of this article.

While I much revere Ambedkar for his denouncement of caste and other social hierarchies, I think it is incorrect to label Hinduism as a faith that is abortive of heterogeneity. One of the most interesting characteristics of Hinduism is its inclusivity of diverse and apparently incompatible beliefs and practices under one umbrella. This comprehensiveness has been a lived reality amongst many and is not nullified by errant or hideous practices by several others claiming to be Hindus. To free ourselves from the injustice of hierarchies we do not need to turn a blind eye to the existence of richness and plurality inside Hinduism. Although ranking presupposes heterogeneity it is possible to have heterogeneity without the vice of ranking. Indeed the search for justice is an attempt to find out how best to do this and make the most of multiplicity while avoiding slipping into the craving for purity and homogeneity.

Ambedkar criticized Islam for Caste system And, while Ambedkar later renounced Hinduism due to caste system, he has elaborated how Islam too had an elaborate caste system (again in practice, even though Quran speaks against any division in Islam as an evil). “Islam speaks of brotherhood. Everybody infers that Islam must be free from slavery and caste. Regarding slavery nothing needs to be said. It stands abolished now by law. But while it existed much of its support was derived from Islam and Islamic countries… The existence of these evils among the Muslims is distressing enough. But far more distressing is the fact that there is no organized movement of social reform among the Musalmans of India on a scale sufficient to bring about their eradication. The Hindus have their social evils. But there is this relieving feature about them—namely, that some of them are conscious of their existence and a few of them are actively agitating for their removal. The Muslims, on the other hand, do not realize that they are evils and consequently do not agitate for their removal. Indeed, they oppose any change in their existing practices. It is noteworthy that the “Muslims opposed the Child-Marriage Bill brought in the Central Assembly in 1930, whereby the age for marriage of a girl was raised to 14 and of a boy to 18 on the ground that it was opposed to the Muslim canon law. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FWVRh4eWTo Get the full context here. He didn't support Karni Sena burning buses. He says if you dont like movie, dont go - why burn buses ? He also said burning buses instead of self-immolate is a strange wisdon, but former was better than later.

It is completely unfair to write against someone without having his view on the subject ,picking some lines from some lectures will, of course give you the wrong impression about the person and that is quite visible in the post.Journalism required transparency and accountability ,Writer is biased and intent to malign Sadguru's image. Please stop spreading venom using sombody's name

I don't agree with a few points in this article. But one thing is clear Jaggi is a number one fraud. I wonder how even highly educated people had become his followers and volunteers for his organisation.

You can smell a rat a mile away, that's what most of the scroll articles are, just pure one sided anti hindu narratives, always painting muslims and minorities as victims. are you blind to the violence being perpetrated around the globe mainly by muslims? or do you call them also victims. It's always a no win situation for the hindus by all the self proclaime seculars of india. Can you name a single muslim or other oppressed minority who actually practices secularim. your tabloid is notorious for being sensational but it cannot be categorized as secular. so please stop ponitificating to the hindus about secularism. it is only nauseating.

If your smelling powers are so great why take time to read scroll and comment. Obviously you are deprived of good journalism which is why you read scroll. Now...Is the cat out of the bag!

What does the word secular mean. Why don't you define it to me. what does it say of our nation that the word secular has become a form of abuse, a provocation, a method of instigation. would you call a person secular if they are equally critical of Islamic and Hindu terrorism? Do you support Pragya Thakur and her ideology? Who clambered onto the masjid and broke it? And go look up the dictionary for the meaning of 'tabloid' before using it. Calling scroll that says a lot more about you than about scroll. (Just had the last laugh).

The day, you publish comments critical of your point of view, or add a up and down button on the article, scroll will matter. Till then it is not worth the paper on which it is written.

Scroll is not vicious in its attack on the BJP. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about the BJP. Scroll is anti-majoritarianism and against all forms of bullying. You can go back to reading Panchjanay if you can't bear rational reasoning.

There is no merit in clubbing 2 disconnected events with different context to judge a person Should ask this to Sadhguru for a response Also, many inference can be drawn from each event and dialogue, article appears to try polarizing through assumptions and inferences

Ask him what exactly? He is infamous for ridiculing questions, arguing that one should NOT raise questions. Why doesn't someone ask him how much money he is making with the contracts of teaching yoga to the BSF? Or how his commerical merchandising is progressing? He says that he has not read the three page amendment but feels that he can comment on it. (Dude, how weird is that.) Supporting the CAA, he says that one should be 'compassionate'. Ostensibly to our 'hindu' brothers and sisters in thr three lucky states of Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Sure. One should. But does one ask a person fallen on the pavement her religion before picking them up. The CAA is not anti-muslim. It's is IN-human. And really, I do not have any faith in a man who believes that Hinduism mandates building a colossal bust of Shiva.

Read sadhguru's opinion on Caste System. https://isha.sadhguru.org/in/en/wisdom/article/why-we-do-what-we-do-the-caste-system His view is plain and simple. Caste system is discriminatory, but please don't make a big fuss about it. In A society there exists different kinds of other discrimination also - parallel to caste. Nothing is going to change by stripping of old caste system, we have to revolutionize the mind. In first para he defends caste system and explains why it makes sense to have caste system and later concludes saying 'that nothing is going to change by stripping of old caste system'. Jaggi sir, you cannot defend and oppose something at the same time. ! But lets have a look at the purpose of article from title - 'The Four Tiers of the Indian Caste System' Well, now we know what you meant. !!
