I found it hilarious that persons holding such eminent judicial positions should hold a useless press conference. Then deny a woman legal support. And a (complete bench mind you !) judgement on,of all the things,Faith !

Most of the decisions made by the Supreme Court today clearly favour the BJP, even when it is indulging in unconstitutional acts quite flagrantly; the migrant exodus is just one example. The present Rajasthan assembly case is yet another. I submit that the Supreme Court is in contempt of its constitutional duties, and the present lot of judges, particularly the Chief Justice must be replaced. But does a law exist for such a replacement? Also, is there a law to punish such sycophantic judges? On what basis, can the Supreme Court even countenance holding eminent and exceptional lawyers like Mr. Prashant Bhushan in contempt? For shame, Supreme Court!

Though I m not law graduate nor from this profession but being Retired Government Servant come across many technicalities in judgment but I fully endorse ARTICLE 19 FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND OF THE VIEW THAT CONTEMPT POWER TO COURTS SHOULD BE DELETED FROM LAW AS HIGHER COURTS JUDGES ARE NOT INFALLIBLE AND PARTISAN JUDGMENT HAVE BEEN GIVEN IN SOME VERY IMPORTANT JUDGEMENTS RECENTLY.
