FILM Kashish Mumbai International Queer Film Festival at Liberty Cinema, Alliance Francaise and Max Mueller Bhavan
Over 180 films from across the world are being screened at Liberty Cinema, Alliance Francaise and Max Mueller Bhavan at this year’s edition of the annual festival. The line-up this weekend includes British filmmaker Jake Witzenfeld’s 2015 documentary Oriented about the sexuality of three Palestinian friends in Tel Aviv (Friday at 1pm at Max Mueller Bhavan); American director Joseph Graham’s 2015 movie Beautiful Something about the lives of four gay men in the US (Friday at 2.30 pm at Liberty Cinema) and Brazilian filmmaker Fabiano de Souza’s 2015 Portuguese drama Two Girls Descending the Stairs, which hinges on the relationship between two girls who are very different from each other (Saturday at 6.15 pm at Alliance Francaise).
