Author Amish Tripathi, best known for the Shiva Trilogy, co-authored a book with five children aged 6 to 10 years. The project, Paanch Nanhi Kalmein, aims to showcase the important role that children – with their naturally vivid imaginations – can play in preserving the dwindling art of storytelling. Each of these tiny co-authors – Nisha, Arya, Anshu, Anjali, and Eklavya – had the opportunity to set their imaginations loose and contribute to a collective story that was started by Amish. Airtel used 3D projection technologies to bring all five children together at the 2016 Jaipur Literature Festival. Despite working independently, the young authors created a wonderful story entitled Udaan, which they narrated at the Festival. Tripathi and the initiative hope to inspire more children to use their imaginations to form and share their own stories.
