Serbian tennis player and World No. 1 Novak Djokovic lifted his fifth ATP World Tour Finals title on Sunday, underlining a dominant season. He has now won the year-ending tournament four times in a row, a first in the history of the event, The Indian Express reported. The 28-year-old beat Roger Federer in straight sets – 6-3, 6-4 – in 80 minutes at the O2 arena in London. Federer, who has won the tournament six times, had beaten Djokovic in the group stage.

The win took Djokovic to his 11th title of a near-flawless season, which included three Grand Slam victories. “This week was great, there were some crazy points tonight, but like plenty of times this year Novak deserved it,” Federer said. With Sunday’s victory, Djokovic is now tied with Federer 22-22 in head-to-head meetings.
