IPL: Sunrisers Hyderabad chase down 179 against Kings XI Punjab to win by seven wickets

Sunrisers Hyderabad all but booked a spot in the playoffs and Kings XI Punjab were almost eliminated, after they slumped to a seven-wicket loss at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium in Mohali on Sunday. Punjab chased down Hyderabad's 179/4 with seven wickets and two deliveries in hand.
Powered by a 56-ball 96 from Hashim Amla, Kings XI Punjab put up an imposing 179/4 in their 20 overs after electing to bat. Contributions from Wriddhiman Saha (27 off 23 balls) and Gurkeerat Singh (27 off 20 balls) helped their cause and David Miller also hit a late cameo (20 off nine balls) to push the team to a 170-plus score.
Sunrisers Hyderabad got off to a great start, but their chase stuttered after David Warner was out hit wicket for a 41-ball 52. Yuvraj Singh, however, remained unbeaten and he played the perfect finisher's knock, scoring 42 off 24 balls to take Hyderabad home.
