WhatsApp users around the world make 100 million calls every day, the messaging company said on Friday. In a blogpost on its website, WhatsApp said this amounts to more than 1,100 calls every second. The Facebook-owned company has more than 1 billion subscribers, making it one of the biggest communication portals in the world.
The WhatsApp voice call feature was rolled out in 2015. It came to Android users first, then to the iOS, Blackberry and Windows operating systems.
