Five men reportedly gangraped a 20-year-old Dalit student in Rohtak, Haryana, last week for the second time in three years. Police on Sunday said the girl was found unconscious in Rohtak's Sukhpura Chowk area on July 13, after which she registered a complaint and is now admitted to a government hospital, reported The Times of India. However, no one has been arrested yet. Seven Dalit groups protested against alleged inaction over the incident outside local legislator Manish Grove's residence on Sunday.

Anil alias Bittu, Raju alias Jagmohan, Sandeep Singh, Mausam Kumar and Aakash abducted the girl in a car from near her college gate, drove to a nearby place, drugged her and gangraped her before dumping her body in the bushes. Later, a passerby spotted the unconscious girl and took her to a hospital.

The same men had raped her in Bhiwani in 2013. Later, the victim's family was threatened and forced to shift to Rohtak. The accused were then booked for the crime. Two of them were arrested and are now out on bail, reported Hindustan Times.

The victim's brother told The Times of India that they had filed a case in court for the arrest of the remaining three accused and re-arrest of the two men on bail. According to the girl's family, the men raped her last week because she did not withdraw her rape case against them. The accused were demanding an out-of-court settlement.
