Heavy fog in Delhi: 12 trains cancelled, 9 flights delayed
More than 80 trains have been running late.
As heavy fog engulfed the national capital on Sunday, at least 12 trains were cancelled, including the Patna Rajdhani Express, and 40 trains were rescheduled, reported PTI. More than 80 Delhi-bound trains were delayed by 4-10 hours.
Four international flights and five domestic flights were delayed, while a Delhi-Hyderabad flight was cancelled on Sunday, ANI reported. More than 100 flights have been delayed at the Indira Gandhi International Airport because of fog in the past few days, reported NewsX.
The humidity levels oscillated between 31% and 98%, a Meteorological Department official told PTI. The minimum temperature was recorded at 12.3 degrees Celsius and maximum was pegged at 26.8 degrees Celsius, PTI said.
