In the trailer of Dipesh Jain’s Gali Guleiyan, a man frantically looks for a boy who he believes needs his help. Directed by Dipesh Jain and produced by Dipesh and Shuchi Jain, the psychological thriller was premiered at the Busan International Film Festival in 2017. It has been screened under its English title, In the Shadows, at more than 20 film festivals. Gali Guleiyan will be released by PVR Pictures on September 7.
According to the press release, Gali Guleiyan centres on a man named Khuddus (Manoj Bajpayee), who is “trapped within the walls and alleys of Old Delhi and his own mind” and “attempts to break free to find a human connection”. The cast includes Shahana Goswami, Neeraj Kabi, Ranvir Shorey and Om Singh.
