UGC NET 2025 exam schedule out; registrations underway at ugcnet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam schedule for the University Grants Commission (UGC)-NET December 2025. As per the notification, the exam will be conducted from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026. Candidates can submit their forms on the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in till November 7, 2025.
The application correction window will open from November 10 to 12, 2025.
UGC-NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for (i) award of Junior Research Fellowship and appointment as Assistant Professor (ii) Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D. and (iii) Admission to Ph.D. only in Indian universities and colleges.
