The Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Odisha, will be announcing the merit list for the Odisha Plus 3 (or +3) admission process on June 3rd at 11 a.m., according to the Indian Express. Students who have applied for admission to first year degree colleges in the state of Odisha will have to log on to the official Student Academic Management System (SAMS) website, samsodisha.gov.in, to check if their name is on the merit list.

Around 2.75 lakh candidates registered for the Odisha +3 admissions this year and around 2.14 lakh applications were received by the DHE. Admissions for the Odisha Plus 3 degree courses for the academic year 2018-19 will take place for 985 colleges based upon this merit list.

The admission process for students whose names feature on the first merit list will be held from July 4th to 7th. The second merit list will be released on July 11th, and the admission process based on the second list will be held on July 12th and 13th. Degree college classes are expected to begin on July 16th.

  2. Click on Merit List on the home page.
  3. Enter the required details and click on Submit.    
  4. The allotment results and rank will be displayed with other information.

The online application process for the DHE Odisha Plus 3 admissions closed on June 27th. The DHE had released the merit list for Plus 2 on June 29th, for which around 4.41 lakh students had applied.
