The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Exam Board (BCECEB) has been conducting online counselling registration for Polytechnic Engineering (PE) based on DCECE 2018 since July 22nd. Two more days are left for candidates to register for the counselling for polytechnic engineering admissions based on DCECE 2018 as the last date to register is July 28th. Candidates whose names feature in the merit list of DCECE 2018 (PE) can register to participate in the counselling process at the official website, bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.

The board in a notification released on July 20th said that the counselling will begin on July 22nd and will go on until July 28th. The counselling process will be conducted in three rounds, but the registration for all the rounds will take place during this time window. So the board advises all candidates to register without fail.

How to register for DCECE 2018 (PE) counselling:

  1. Log on to the official website of the BCECE Board.    
  2. Click on DCECE tab on the left panel.    
  3. Click on the link “Apply for e-Counselling for Diploma (Polytechnic Engineering) Stream on the basis of DCECE-2018”.    
  4. Click on ‘New Registration to Polytechnic Courses – DCECE 2018’.    
  5. Alternatively click on the direct link to access the registration page for DCECE-2018.     
  6. Read the instruction carefully and click on ‘I Agree’ and click on ‘Click here to Proceed’.    
  7. Select ‘Polytechnic Stream’ and fill in the form and click on ‘Submit’.    
  8. Follow the instructions and submit the choice list online before the due date.    
  9. Download the choice list document and take a print out for reference purpose.    

DCECE 2018 examination was conducted on May 12th and May 13th and the result was declared on June 24th by BCECEB on its official website.
