The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) has announced important dates for its Common Admission Test (CAT) 2018 exam via a notification released on Saturday. The IIM CAT 2018 exam will be conducted on November 25th.

The official IIM CAT 2018 website states that the registration process for the CAT 2018 exam will begin on August 8th. Candidates interested in pursuing management courses at IIMs across the country can register at iimcat.ac.in. The last date to register for IIM CAT 2018 will be September 19th.

IIM Kolkata will be responsible for conducting the IIM CAT 2018 exam, which will be held on November 25th this year in 147 cities in two sessions. IIM CAT admit cards will be issued from October 24th and the IIMC AT 2018 results are expected to be declared in the second week of January 2019.

The CAT exam is a pre-requisite for admissions to various post-graduate programmes in the IIM institutions. There are 20 IIM colleges throughout the country in various cities – Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bodh Gaya, Calcutta, Indore, Jammu, Kashipur, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Nagpur, Raipur, Ranchi, Rohtak, Sambalpur, Shillong, Sirmaur, Tiruchirappalli, Udaipur and Visakhapatnam.

The IIM CAT 2018 exam will test candidates’ proficiency in three parameters: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. The 3-hour exam will have an hour allotted for each section.
