South Korea-based LG’s new premium flagship smartphone, the G7+ ThinQ, has been launched in India. This new device has also been teased by Flipkart as part of its ‘big freedom sale’. The phone is a successor to last year’s LG G6+ and will be available exclusively on Flipkart from August 10th, 2018, an India Today report says.

According to the India Today report, the LG G7+ ThinQ will be available on Flipkart at a price of Rs.39,990. However, the device is listed on the official site for a price of Rs.55,000.

The premium smartphone comes with an artificial intelligence (AI) powered dual rear camera setup 16MP standard angle and a 16MP super wide angle camera and an 8MP snapper in the front. Notably it includes a dedicated button to trigger Google Assistant and Google Lens. Under the hood, it gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD.

Along with power-packed feature list, the smartphone is incorporated with Artificial Intelligence technology that increases the level of real time engagement for customers,” Indian Today quoted Avait Vaidya, Head of Mobile Business, LG India, as saying.

The G7+ ThinQ sports an all-new, 1000-nit, Full-view, super bright display and it also has an IP68-rated dust and water resistant technology based on the MIL-STD 810G standard. Plus, there is a Boombox Speaker along with Hi-Fi Quad DAC to deliver an enhanced audio experience. In terms of software, it runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. It also features support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 Technology.
