JEE Main exam 2019 schedule released, JEE Main exam to be conducted in eight sittings
The JEE Main exam will be conducted from January 6th to 20th and April 6th to 20th in eight sittings.
The Human Resources Ministry released the schedule for Joint Entrance Exam (Main) 2019 today, August 21st, according to multiple reports. From next year, the JEE Main exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) twice in a year, in January and April. The January exam will be held from January 6th to January 20th and the April exam will be conducted from April 6th to April 20th.
The exams will be conducted in eight sittings rather than on a single day. Candidates can choose a date to appear in the examination. NTA will conduct JEE (Main) and NET exam twice in a year and the students can appear on both the occasions. The best of two score will be taken into account. The NEET exam will be conducted once.

To be eligible to appear in the JEE Mains and Advanced, candidates must score at least 75% (65% for reserved category) in the class 12th board exam or be placed in top 20th percentile of the results. The JEE Main exam is conducted for admissions to BE, BTech, and BArch courses across the country.
