The party, however, will focus on local issues such as employment generation, setting up of educational institutes, infrastructure development and the return of Kashmiri Pandit migrants to the state. This change in stance comes after the party had stated its wish to abrogate Article 370 in its manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls in May.
