Arnab Goswami, host of the 9 pm Newshour: The Nation Wants To Know show on Times Now, isn’t on Twitter. Despite this, he is definitely the biggest troll of them all. His show is broadcast every weeknight and at least for every three or four of them a week, it is the top trending topic on Twitter. The Newshour's sensational and outrageous hashtags have raised anger levels and stirred many a debate.

Goswami has already spawned at least two parody accounts ParodyWala and justicearnab and the jokes about the high-volume anchor are always mounting.

Ever since Narendra Modi has taken over, Goswami and his Times Now team have upped their game.

Some of the show's hashtags seem so specific, it's difficult to understand what they refer to. Take, for instance, #VinodSpeaksToArnab. Further investigation reveals that it was actually about former Comptroller and Auditor General Vinod Rai speaking to Goswami about the sensational claims in his new book.

#HitlerCM This was about K Chandrasekhar Rao threatening the media.

#SwamyOnNewsHour was about Tamil fishermen being arrested by the Sri Lankan authorities.

#DevyaniHumiliated was, of course, about Indian diplomat Devyani Khobragade being arrested in the US on charges of underpaying her maid.

#ChitgateBomb  discussed the collapse of a Ponzi scheme run by the Saradha Group in Eastern India.

#LoveForLalBatti debated newly-elected Mumbai Mayor Snehal Ambekar's refusal to remove the red beacon light on her official car, even though she is not entitled to have one.
