The newest photo from India’s Mars Orbiter Mission is of regional dust storm activities over the northern hemisphere of the Red Planet. The image was said to be taken from an altitude of 74,500 kms from the surface of Mars.

Five days ago, Scroll.in reproduced the first photo released by the Mars Orbiter Mission and since then, they have only been getting better.

The spacecraft has been equipped with five instruments that include a sensor to track gases, a colour camera and a thermal-imaging spectrometer to map the surface and mineral wealth of the red planet. Many more photos in the coming days are expected.
