ART Games People Play at the Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum
The new show by Delhi artist duo Thukral and Tagra is a set of playful games and artworks inspired by the museum’s collection of traditional playing cards. Tickets for Indians are priced at Rs 10 per head for adults and R s5 per head for children below the age of 13, and tickets for foreigners are priced at Rs 100 per head for adults and Rs 50 per head for children below the age of 13.

ART Ephemera at Artisans’ Centre

ART Len Den at Mumbai Art Room
In this exhibition, organised by the gallery in collaboration with the Cona Foundation run by Hemali Bhuta and Shreyas Karle, the participating artists – Bhuta, Karle, Mahesh Baliga, Makarand Dhotre, Jason Dodge, Bhuvanesh Gowda, Ritesh Meshram, Yamini Nayar and Gyan Panchal among others – will trade works. These works on will be display, some of them partially clad in their packing, along with the correspondence between the artists with the intention of showing how collections can be built without exchanging money.

Free FILM The Factory at Tata Institute of Social Sciences
Rahul Roy’s documentary follows the case of 147 former workers at the Maruti Suzuki factor in Manesar in Gurgaon, who are in jail for killing Awanish Kumar Dev, a human resources manager, during a violent protest in July 2012. The screening has been organised by filmmaker collective Vikalp and the Centre for Media and Cultural Studies at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

FILM A Man Vanishes at the Dr Bhau Daji Lad Museum
In his 1967 documentary, Japanese filmmaker Shohei Imamura investigates the disappearance of man named Tadashi, who seemingly vanished without a trace. The screening is part of the Movies at the Museum series curated by filmmakers Avijit Mukul Kishore and Rohan Shivkumar. Documentary filmmaker Madhusree Dutta will lead a discussion about the film with the curators and the audience.
