The new show by Delhi artist duo Thukral and Tagra is a set of playful games and artworks inspired by the museum’s collection of traditional playing cards. See here for a review. Free DANCE Raindrops Festival at Ravindra Natya Mandir
The 25th edition of this annual festival of Indian classical dance, organised by kathak exponent Uma Dogra to showcase young talent, will be held over three days. French DJs Loopkin aka Cyril-Vincent Michaud and Shy-O aka Charles Mostais will soundtrack electronica collective Bhavishyavani Future Soundz’s club night Heartbeat. This edition of the monthly gig series, which is held at Bonobo, will take place at Worli’s Cafe Nemo, run by the same set of owners who helm the Bandra bar. The venue has been shifted because the building in which Bonobo is housed is temporarily closed owing to a recent fire. There is no entry fee.

Free FILM Destination City + So Far From India at Films Division
A screening of two films exploring the idea of migration. Destination City, a 20-minute documentary made in 1976 for Films Division, is about the movement of people from villages to cities in search of jobs. So Far From India, from 1982, is Mira Nair’s 50-minute documentary about Ashok Sheth, a Gujarati immigrant in New York trying hard to eke out a living.
