FILM The Animal-Human-Nature Continuum at Osianama at Liberty Cinema
Arts organisation Osians is screening a series of films that touch upon the relationship between man and nature. Among the movies being shown this weekend are Darren Aronofsky’s Noah (2014), which is based on the Biblical story (Friday at 6pm); James Marsh’s The Theory of Everything (2014), a biopic of physicist Stephen Hawking, adapted from a memoir by his ex-wife Jane Hawking (Saturday at 6pm); and Brazilian director Gabriel Mascaro’s 2015 Portuguese drama Neon Bull, about a handler of rodeo bulls who spends his spare time designing outfits for a dancer (Sunday at 9pm).
