LITERATURE TALKS Tata Literature Live at the National Centre for the Performing Arts and Prithvi Theatre
This year’s edition of the annual lit fest features over 130 speakers and performers over four days. On the weekend, Sam Cutler, the former tour manager for The Rolling Stones and the Grateful Dead, will talk about his career (Friday at 5 pm at the NCPA Experimental Theatre); British authors Martin Amis and Nicholas Shakespeare and Australian writer Frank Moorhouse will discuss the topic ‘Once Upon a Town: When the City is a Character’ (Saturday at 10.30 am at Prithvi Theatre); journalists Aakar Patel, Josy Joseph and Mihir Sharma and marketing professional Rama Bijapurkar will talk about the effects of liberalisation on the country (Saturday at 3.30 pm at the NCPA Godrej Dance Theatre); and British poet and playwright Simon Armitage will talk about writing poetry (Sunday at noon at Prithvi Theatre).
