A set of six short animation films by Berlin-residing Indian artist Sarnath Banerjee will be screened. The films Hakim Tartoosi’s Potency Oil (2001), Bengali Tourist (2003), 1943 (2007), Sophistication is Fragile (2009), Bachelor of 21 Dreams (2011) and Paradise Locked (2011) “explore the idiosyncratic textures of urban life to broadly comment on human behaviour and identity”.
