After all, if there's one man in international sport who's worthy of being called Superman, it's probably Lionel Messi. So what if he has blonde hair now?

Umm, yes. The Argentinian footballer, who recently retired from the national team, has got himself a new look. Catalan giants Barcelona FC recently unveiled a new training video which shows arguably the world's greatest footballer in all his blonde glory.

Of course, the cat had already been let out of the bag with his picture on Instagram shared by Messi's wife, Antonella Roccuzzo.

But then even the world's greatest footballer isn't immune to criticism from social media warriors about his fashion choices.
