India's 100-strong contingent are no longer on the road to Rio de Janeiro. They are officially now in Rio.
As the Olympics come ever closer, several of India's big medal hopes have arrived at the beautiful Brazilian coastal city for what should be the biggest sporting event of their lives.
Both the men's and the women's hockey team have already touched down in Rio.

And even though the men are reportedly not too happy with the facilities they've been provided, they seem to be finding a way to enjoy themselves:
But there's a lot of support for the women's team, who are making a comeback to the Olympic stage after a huge gap of 36 long years.

Other Indian medal hopes are slowly trickling in. Dipa Karmakar, on whom the nation's gaze has been trained ever since she became the first Indian gymnast to qualify for the Olympics, looks like she's enjoying herself, along with her coach.

And India's boxing hope Shiva Thapa seems like he's settled in well.

No wonder the Indian tricolour is flying sky-high in Rio de Janeiro. Now all eyes are set on August 5, when the action begins.
