India's Viswanathan Anand slipped to fifth place in the standings of the Tal Memorial tournament in Moscow after drawing against Russia's Evgeny Tomashevsky in Round 6 on Sunday.
Russia's Vladmir Kramnik and Levon Aronian both won their respective games in Round 6 which tied them with Anand on 3.5 points. However, by virtue of higher ranking, Kramnik and Aroniak were in third and fourth spots, respectively with Anand dropping to fifth from his third place rank after Round 5.
Anand's next game is against Russia's Peter Svidler on Tuesday. Svidler is currently in sixth spot in the table.
