Skateboarding or rather skating is common nowadays in cities across the country. However, in a village or rather town in Madhya Pradesh, skateboarding is more than just a sport. In Janwaar, located near the Panna Tiger Reserve in Madhya Pradesh, it is a way of life.
In this unique Indian village, a skating park stands out, built to unite, teach and allow children to learn new things. Education is a must at the park but so is learning to fly past other children and watchers with a skate board under your feet. German author Ulrike Reinhard thought of the concept and started an online campaign to fund it. (Video above)
