Marco Reus’s 88th minute strike helped Borussia Dortmund secure a 2-2 draw at Real Madrid in their Champions League Group F tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Thursday. The result saw the German outfit finish ahead of the hosts in top spot.

Earlier, a Karim Benzema double had put Real in control of the game. Dortmund though came back strongly as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pulled one back, before Reus snatched another to send Dortmund on top.

Meanwhile, Legia Warsaw beat Sporting Lisbon 1-0 to finish third in the group and claim a Europa League spot.

In Group H, Juventus finished on top after beating Dinamo Zagreb 2-0 in Turin. Gonzalo Higuain and Daniele Rugani scored in the second half to hand the Old Lady an easy ride into the last 16.

Sevilla too qualified from Group H after a 0-0 draw at Lyon.

Already qualified Leicester City were handed a 0-5 thrashing by Porto in their Group G clash. Needing a win to qualify for the knockout stage, Porto were in solid form and controlled the game throughout.

With Leicester already assured of top spot, manager Claudio Ranieri chose to make 10 changes to the starting XI.

The Portuguese side dominated throughout with Leicester pegged back into their own half for most of the 90 minutes.

In another game in Group G, Copenhagen beat Club Brugge 2-0. However, with Porto’s convincing win against Leicester, victory in Brugge could only take them as far as the Europa League.

In Group E, Bayer Leverkusen secured second spot and moved into the knockout stage after beating Monaco 3-0. Despite the loss, Monaco finished on top of Group E.

Tottenhman meanwhile secured third place and confirmed their Europa League spot with a 3-1 win over CSKA Moscow.

Spurs needed to avoid defeat if they wanted to finish third. They began on the back foot as Alan Dzagoev scored to hand the visitors the lead.

Dele Alli equalised for the Londoners before Harry Kane put them in front. A comical own goal by keeper Igor Akinfeev gifted Spurs the third.
