On Friday, the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing of The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) yet again. Earlier during the week, the Indian cricket board breathed a sigh of relief as the Supreme Court adjourned the hearing on December 5 and pushed it to Friday. The hearing was adjourned owing to the unavailability of Justice TS Thakur, who is part of the Bench presiding over the case.

However, on Friday, the Apex court yet again delayed the hearing to December 14 (Wednesday). In its last status report, the Lodha panel had recommended the removal of all ineligible office-bearers from the Board and the appointment of former home secretary GK Pillai as an observer.
