‘Ten is Rafa’: Twitter salutes Nadal on his astounding La Decima achivement

It’s a bird, it’s a plane...no, it’s Rafael Nadal.

He went and did it. La Decima. On a much-anticipated Sunday which turned out to be an anti-climax, Stan Wawrinka was utterly blown away 2-6, 3-6, 1-6 to complete a decade of Rafael Nadal domination. 10 French Open titles. Without doubt, there is only one King of Clay and that is Rafael Nadal.

His peers and former greats all stood up to applaud in unison.
