Olympique Marseille breezed past Toulouse in Ligue 1 in a 2-0 victory on Sunday, 24th September.

However, the first goal of the evening was actually scored by a fan, Kamel Zaroual (not officially of course). He was invited to the Stade Velodrome and was allowed to kick off the match for his team. He took the opportunity. And how! With some swift movement, a classy finish and a celebration filled with emotion, he ran the pitch welling up with tears.

Watch the goal here:

Why was this so special? Zaroual recently cycled roughly 2,000 kilometres from his home in the nearby city of Arles north to the city of Amiens and back to raise money for local disadvantaged children.

“I am not a professional cyclist, the only doping substances I take are beer and cigarettes,” he said to France 3 after completing his insane cycle journey.

What a legend!
