India beat South Africa on Mohali dust bowl
India leads the four-match series 1-0 after its 108-run win in the first test.
India's spin bowlers put the pitch to excellent use to defeat South Africa in a low-scoring Test match in Mohali on Saturday. On a rank turner, chasing 218 to win, South Africa was bowled out for 109 to give India the lead in the four-match series. Ravindra Jadeja took five wickets, with first-innings hero Ravichandran Ashwin claiming another three to dismiss the visitors with two days to spare.
Earlier in the day, South Africa bowlers ran riot, going through the Indian middle order with ease. The hosts, resuming at 125-2, could only add another 75 runs as spinners Harmer and Tahir claimed the remaining eight wickets between them, dismissing India for 200.
