After arresting several reported Inter-Service Intelligence spies across the country, investigators on Monday found a likely suspect at the Pakistan High Commission in Delhi as well. In the last few days, the police have also made arrests in Meerut and Kolkata. A Special Task Force of Kolkata Police on Sunday arrested three suspects, all of whom have strong links to West Bengal’s ruling Trinamool Congress Party. After arresting Border Security constable Abdul Rasheed and his handler Kafaitullah Khan, Delhi police recovered sensitive documents and information that have been leaked to the ISI, The Times of India reported. This included locations and strengths of BSF units across Poonch, Mendhar and Rajouri, as well as two Rashtriya Rifles units. Crime branch officials handed over the details to a Delhi court.

Interrogations also revealed a suspect in the Pakistan High Commission who was reportedly helping Kafaitullah Khan with his passport. More arrests are likely in the coming days. Reports indicate that the spy ring has been running for over a decade.
