The National Green Tribunal on Tuesday issued a notice to the Delhi government regarding a plea from car dealers seeking to modify the order banning the registration of new diesel vehicles in the city. The NGT said it needs to wait for the Supreme Court order, which is due today, to pass any ruling on the car dealers' plea, reported PTI.

The body also issued a notice to the Ministry of Environment & Forests and the Ministry of Heavy Industries, directing them to take a clear stand on the cause of pollution in the city.
