Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg wants to create an artificially intelligence assistant for himself in 2016. “You can think of it kind of like Jarvis in Iron Man," Zuckerberg, wrote, referring to a Marvel Comics butler who is programmed to help out at work and at home.

In a post on Facebook, Zuckerberg said he will explore existing technology, and try to teach it to recognise his voice. That we, the butler can monitor things in Zuckerberg's home, such as music, lights and temperature. The butler will also be taught to recognise his friend’s faces and let them into Zuckerberg’s house accordingly, he wrote. At work, the butler will visualise data and assist him in daily activities.

"This should be a fun intellectual challenge to code this for myself," Zuckerberg wrote. "I'm looking forward to sharing what I learn over the course of the year.” He declared that this would be his “personal challenge” for this year, having taken on other challenges in previous years including learning Mandarin and reading two books a month.
