A fake tombstone for Donald Trump, the man who ‘made America hate again’ shows up in New York's Central Park
It was taken down by authorities on Sunday, but not before it popped up on the Internet and was the subject of some mirth.
A fake tombstone for Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump was erected in New York’s Central Park over the weekend. The tombstone says “Made America hate again”, and has no year of death. It came up in the Tavern on the Green, at the park. NBC New York reported that it was taken down on Sunday, but not before it was shared extensively on Twitter, Instagram and many websites.
The business mogul has mainly been in the news for extremely controversial comments he has made, and continues to make, during his political campaign. Trump has often attacked Democrat rival Hillary Clinton over her gender, and recently came into the news again for his anti-Islam stand following the terror attacks in Brussels, and more recently for saying that he "alone" could solve the problem of "radical Islamist attacks". He had earlier called for a ban on Muslims entering the United States.
