Actor Priyanka Chopra on Tuesday criticised Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump for his views on banning Muslims from entering the United States. “Generalising a type of people is really primitive”, the Quantico star said, adding that the fight against terrorism was complex and that nobody could “put a face on it”, PTI reported.

Last year, the business mogul and presidential hopeful had called for a ban on Muslims entering the US to “protect the country”, after the San Bernardino shooting in December in which 14 people were killed. Trump also claimed to have seen thousands of Muslims celebrating in New Jersey after the 9/11 terror attacks, which brought down the Twin Towers.
