The Switzerland attorney general's office said it conducted a raid on FIFA headquarters in Zurich on Thursday to collect evidence for corruption cases against former President Sepp Blatter and former Secretary General Jerome Valcke, according to report by AFP.

"Documents and electronic data were seized and will now be examined to determine their relevance to the ongoing proceedings," said a statement from the attorney general's office.

Both Blatter and Valcke were suspended on charges of criminal mismanagement of FIFA money. While Blatter has been banned for six years, Valcke cannot return to the association for 12 years. Last year, Swiss policemen raided a Zurich hotel and arrested several top FIFA officials on charges of corruption.
