All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen chief Asaduddin Owaisi has said that Islamic State militants are “dogs from hell”, reported Hindustan Times. If Muslims find them, they will cut them up into 100 pieces, he added.

“Daesh [Islamc State] is a lie. It’s an army of criminals. The organisation and its so-called Khalifa [Abu Bakr al Baghdadi] are the dogs of hell,” he said while condemning the recent attack near the Prophet’s mosque in Madinah. Speaking at a meeting in Hyderabad, he asked Muslim youth to stay away from Islamic State-related material on the internet.

Owaisi recently drew criticism from offering to provide legal help to the five youths arrested by the National Investigation Agency in Hyderabad for alleged links to the Islamic State. A police complaint was filed against him with Saroor Nagar Police. The Bharatiya Janata Party and Janata Dal (United) had demanded the AIMIM chief's immediate arrest.
