The complainant also accused the Rajya Sabha MP and her family of threatening to kill her.
An FIR was registered with the Thoothukudi Police on Wednesday against expelled All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MP Sasikala Pushpa and her family members after her domestic worker accused them of sexual harassment. The woman lodged a complaint on Monday, reported The News Minute.
The domestic worker accused the Rajya Sabha MP's son Pradeep Raja and husband Lingeswara Thilagam of sexually harassing her and said they even threatened to kill her. The complainant also alleged that the family caught her and shaved her head when she tried to flee their house.
The former Tuticorin mayor has been embroiled in several controversies lately. Recently, party member Rajesh claimed that Pushpa duped him of Rs 20 lakh. He alleged she had taken the money from him to get a contact for a highway project. Pushpa was expelled from the AIADMK on August 1 for allegedly physically assaulting Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam MP Trichy Siva at Delhi airport on July 31. AIADMK chief Jayalalithaa said Pushpa had brought disrepute to the party and asked for her to be dismissed.
