I just voiced my concern, did not blame a party: Kapil Sharma on accusing the BMC of corruption
Both the BJP and MNS threatened action against the comedian for his allegations.
Comedian Kapil Sharma on Friday clarified that he did not mean to blame any political party when he tweeted earlier in the day that he had been asked for a Rs 5-lakh bribe by Mumbai's civic body to set up an office. He said he was simply voicing his concern about corruption at the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
I just voiced my concern on the corruption I faced with certain individuals..Its No blame on any political party be it BJP, MNS or ShivSena

Sharma's clarification came after Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ram Kadam filed a police complaint against him and the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena threatened to disrupt shoots for his TV show unless he proved his allegations.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had responded to Sharma's original tweet saying action would be taken if he could provide more information on his complaint.
Kapilbhai pls provide all info.

The BMC also asked him to register a formal complaint and name the civic officer who had allegedly demanded a bribe. Here are Sharma's original tweets:
