National Green Tribunal website hacked in 'act of revenge against India Army's surgical strikes'
A message from the hackers, replete with abusive language, said, 'We are Unbeatable...Now kiss the burn of Cyber War'.
The National Green Tribunal's website was reportedly hacked in an "act of revenge against the Indian Army's surgical strikes" across the Line of Control, PTI reported. The breach was detected at 7.15 pm on Monday.
A message from the hackers, which included abusive language, said, “We are Unbeatable. You...kill innocent people in Kashmir and call yourself defenders of your country. You...violate the ceasefire on the border and call it ‘Surgical Strikes’. Now kiss the burn of Cyber War.”
The office of NGT Chairperson Justice Swatanter Kumar was unavailable for comment, according to PTI. The website, however, cannot be reached at present. The National Green Tribunal's website was targeted in 2013, as well. In April 2012, the Delhi High Court Bar Association's website was defaced by suspected Pakistani hackers.
The Indian Army had announced on September 29 that it had launched surgical strikes against seven terror launchpads along the Line of Control. Relations between India and Pakistan worsened after the Uri attack on September 18. New Delhi accused Islamabad of being involved in the attack, which Pakistan dismissed as baseless. Since then, India has attempted to 'diplomatically isolate' Pakistan globally.
