Wife of national-level kabaddi player Rohit Kumar commits suicide in Delhi
Police said they had found a note written by Lalita Kumar, in which she allegedly accused her husband of six months of torturing her.
National-level kabaddi player Rohit Kumar's wife Lalita committed suicide in Delhi's Nangloi area on Tuesday, The Times of India reported. Police said she was found hanging at her parents' house in the West Delhi locality.
The officials added that they had found a suicide note and were examining it to determine why the 27-year-old killed herself. In the note, Lalita allegedly accused her husband of torturing her, according to India Today. The two had been married for six months.
A sub-divisional magistrate-level inquiry has been ordered into the incident.
Besides the national team, Rohit Kumar plays for the Patna Pirates in the Pro-Kabaddi League.
