Two gunmen open fire inside school in Pakistan's Bahawalnagar city
Students were evacuated from the institute, and police have reportedly surrounded the premises.
Two men on Monday opened fire after storming a private school in Bahawalnagar city in Pakistan's Punjab province, according to reports. However, District Police Officer Liaquat Ali Malik said the shooter was an armed student, and no one was hurt in the incident, Dawn reported.
The assailant fired three shots and fled the scene, according to the Pakistani daily.
Officials said all students were evacuated from the institute. A security guard was injured in the attack, according to The Indian Express. The school is located in Bahawalnagar's Haroonbad locality.
