Mumbai: Fire breaks out at Mukesh Ambani’s Antillia residence, now under control
Deputy Commissioner of Police Rashmi Karandikar said the blaze was spotted on the sixth floor of the building.
A fire broke out at Reliance Industries Limited Managing Director Mukhesh Ambani’s residence, Antillia, in Mumbai on Monday evening. Six fire tenders had been rushed to the spot, reported The Times of India. The blaze, which broke out at 9.10 pm, was brought under control within minutes.
There are contradictory reports as to where the fire broke out. While Chief Fire Officer PS Rahangdale said that the blaze was in “a garden area where there was a mobile tower”, Deputy Commissioner of Police Rashmi Karandikar said it was on the sixth floor of the building. A Reliance spokesperson said that the fire was in the garden area.
The house, worth Rs 13,000 crore, is the world’s most expensive private residential property.
